Welcome to Scouting in the Black Mountain District. Black Mountain consists of over 2,400 Scouts and 500 volunteers who share their love of Scouting and the Outdoors with the communities that they live in. The following communities are a part of Black Mountain: Rancho Bernardo, 4S Ranch, Carmel Mountain, Pensaquitos and Poway through over 80 Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews.

The District Committee is in the process of planning the next 18 months of events, so please keep checking the website for up and coming events and activities. If you are interested in getting your child enrolled in scouting or would like to volunteer, please contact our District Executive, Erica Audette, at Erica.audette@scouting.org or 619-298-6121 ext 250.

March 31-April 4, 2014 and April 7-11, 2014: Council Sponsors Cub Spring Day Camp.  Looking for a place for your Cub Scout to go during Spring Break.  Check out our NEW Spring Cub Day Camps.  Call the Council Office for more information, 619-298-6121.

March 31- April 5, 2014: Trailblazer to First Class Spring Camp. This Day Camp is for NEW Boy Scouts.  During the week they will be working on different requirements from Scout to First Class ranks.  Call the Council Office for more information, 619-298-6121.

March 31-April 5, 2014:  Eagles Day Camp: This Day Camp is for Boy Scouts to come and work on some of the Eagle Required Merit Badges.  Call the Council office for more information, 619-298-6121.
